The Danish capital is a combination of regal and cool, with grand palaces alongside plenty of children’s attractions. It is home to Tivoli Gardens, the world’s second-oldest amusement park. The park really comes to life at Christmas time, when the whole place is filled with twinkling fairy lights, and the rides and attractions are surrounded by a Christmas market with stalls selling crafts and treats. If you are lucky, you can meet Santa and his reindeer and ride some amazing rides while snacking on traditional sweets.

There is an ice skating rink, a Christmas market, street theater, and of course – Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland is truly the most magical Christmas destination you can imagine.
