Celje is the third-largest town in Slovenia. Located below Upper Celje Castle at the confluence of the Savinja, Hudinja, Ložnica, and Voglajna rivers in the lower Savinja Valley.
Local sights in town include a Grayfriars' monastery founded in 1241 and a palace from the 16th century.
