About Berdiansk
Resting on the shores of the Azov Sea, Berdiansk offers art and history museums, a wealth of monuments, an idyllic beach, and more.
Berdiansk is a port city in the Zaporizhia Oblast of south-east Ukraine. Administratively, it is incorporated as a city of oblast significance and serves as an administrative center of Berdiansk Raion, though it does not belong to the raion. Berdiansk is located on the northern coast of the Sea of Azov, and is known in Ukraine due to its sea port and industries. It is also home to a health resort with mud baths and climatic treatments. Its main attractions include an Aqua Park, a beach, a zoo, and the Memorial House-Museum of P. Schmidt.
