A popular resort town in the High Tatras, Strbske Pleso rests on the banks of a glacial lake, offering great hiking and skiing nearby.
With its large glacial mountain lake, Strbske Pleso is a favorite ski, tourist, and health resort in the High Tatras, Slovakia. With extensive parking facilities and a stop on the Tatra trolley and rack railway, it is a starting point for a host of popular hikes including to Krivan and Rysy.

Right at the banks of the Strbske Pleso lake, the Hotel Solisko is situated in the High Tatras Mountains, 1351 metres above sea level. It has its own spa and fitness centre and a lakeside restaurant.
