About Lahinch
Inhabited since the Vikings, this seaside town boasts interesting history sites, as well as great surfing opportunities.
Lahinch is a small town on Liscannor Bay, on the northwest coast of County Clare, Ireland. The town is a seaside resort and is home to the Lahinch Golf Club and is a popular surfing location.
The town contains several small cafes and restaurants, a church, a pub and the Lahinch and Shamrock Hotels..
Local points of interest are Moy House, a country house set in 15 acres of woodland on the River Moy, Lahinch Seaworld, the Dough Castle tower ruins.

In a great location at Lahinch, close to the Cliffs of Moher, the Ocean and the Famous Links Golf, Vaughan Lodge is a small, family-owned run by 4th generation local hoteliers, Michael and Maria Vaughan. Situated on the N67 45 minutes drive from Shannon Airport.
Rooms are very spacious and contemporary, complete with bath / power shower, bedside reading lights, Tea and Coffee Facilities and free Wi-Fi internet access..
Breakfasts are cooked to order and of a high standard.
Vaughan Lodge Hotel has a cocktail lounge bar, with cosy fireplace and a Fine Dining Restaurant normally open Tuesday to Saturday evening. Pre Booking of the Restaurant is essential as dining is limited in numbers. The hotel does not offer evening meals on Sunday and Monday evenings.
The hotel is close to the village, with its restaurants, pubs and cafes and shops.
