About Visegrad
Offering a fantastic view of the Danube, and famous for its ruins of a Renaissance summer palace, this town is well worth a visit.
Visegrad is a small castle town in Pest County, Hungary. It is north of Budapest on the right bank of the Danube in the Danube Bend and is famous for the remains of the Early Renaissance summer palace of King Matthias Corvinus of Hungary and the medieval citadel. In addition, it is noted for the remains of the Visegrad Castle - the Upper and Lower castles, as well as the ruins of the 4C Roman military camp on Sibrik Hill.

All of the air-conditioned rooms come with cable TV and a minibar. The superior rooms have been refurbished in November 2011 and feature balconies with either Danube or Visegrad Castle views.
The Siraly Restaurant serves traditional Hungarian cuisine prepared with local produce. Guests can enjoy their meal inside or on the terrace which has views of the Danube.
