Montpellier is a city in southern France. It is the capital of the Languedoc-Roussillon region. Located on the south coast of France on the Mediterranean Sea, it is the third-largest French city on the Mediterranean coast after Marseille and Nice. The main focus point of the city is the Place de la Comédie, with the Opera Comédie built in 1888.
The majority of the buildings of the historic center have medieval roots and were modified between the 16th and the 18th centuries.
The University of Montpellier is one of the oldest in the world, founded in 1160.

La Table de Biar restaurant is open for lunch and dinner from Wednesday to Sunday. Closed Monday noon and Tuesday. The chef works with fresh, local produce and the menu changes once a month depending on the season and the incoming produce. Reservation is required at least 24 hours in advance.
An array of activities can be enjoyed on site such as massages, yoga session, equicoaching or in the surroundings including hiking.
