About Turku

Turku is a city on the southwest coast of Finland at the mouth of the Aura River. Turku, as a town, was settled during the 13th century making it the oldest city in Finland and city's identity stems from its status as the oldest city in Finland and the country's first capital.
The city is home to numerous art and historical museums and hosts many music Festivals. A Medieval Market is held each year during July.
