About Velingrad
Home to over 90 mineral springs with healing properties, Velingrad also boasts Bulgaria's largest karst spring and some historic sites.
Velingrad is a town in Pazardzhik Province, Southern Bulgaria, located at the western end of Chepino Valley, part of the Rhodope Mountains. It is the administrative center of the homonymous Velingrad Municipality and one of the most popular Bulgarian balneological resorts. There are more than 90 mineral water springs with curative and preventive properties in and around the town. The mineral waters (from springs and wells) vary considerably and are suitable for treatment of a wide range of diseases.

Balneo Complex & Spa Aquatonik is located in Velingrad, the spa capital of the Balkans. Located near Kleptuza Lake, it offers free usage of the spa's aquatonic mineral water pool, sauna, ice room and steam baths.
Fitted with free Wi-Fi, the modern air-conditioned rooms all come with a TV, sofa bed and minibar. Bathrooms are equipped with a bathtub.
The wellness centre also includes a Dr. Kneipp path and fitness centre. There is also a centre for physical and rehabilitation medicine. Guests can also take part in train adventures, horse riding, or forest trekking excursions.
