Cinque Terre

A trip to Liguria isn’t complete without visiting the Cinque Terre! Rapallo

Don’t miss the amazing Rapallo. With gorgeous beaches, pedestrian promenades, authentic restaurants, and a charming 16th century castle, Rapallo has been a lovely retreat for centuries, and it is easy to see why. Well-connected by public transportation, it is also a great base for exploring nearby cities and towns.

The Rapallo castle (Castello di Rapallo) is located in the city with the same name on the Ligurian coast in Italy, a few kilometers south of Genoa, near Portofino. It was build in 1551 to provide defence against the increasing pirate attacks. Each year on 3rd of July, the castle is set on fire (simulated) just to be put off during a fire extinguish exercise. Ravello

Continue along the Amalfi coast to a town which has inspired artists for years – Ravello. Ravello has hosted artists such as Wagner, DH Lawrence, and Virginia Woolf. Capri

Sorrento

Head for the hills and explore the imposing Sorrento. Situated at the top of a cliff overlooking the sea, Sorrento’s views are breathtaking! In Sorrento you’ll find spectacular scenery, lovely strolls along historic boulevards, amazing hikes, and beautiful boat rides. Positano
