Reykjavík is the capital and largest city of Iceland. Reykjavík is famous for its weekend nightlife - Icelanders tend to go out late, so bars that look rather quiet can fill up suddenly—usually after midnight on a weekend. There are over 100 different bars and clubs in Reykjavík most of them are located on Laugavegur and its side streets and it is very common for an establishment that is a café before dinner to turn into a bar in the evening.Laugavegur is also the main shopping street. About Hofn
Höfn is an Icelandic fishing town in the south-eastern part of the country, located on a peninsula in the south-east of Iceland near Hornafjörður fjord. Höfn contains several museums, including the exhibition about the Vatnajökulsþjóðgarð in Gamlabúð which has a variety of displays on the geology, ecology and history of the glacier. A cultural highlight of the town is the annual Humarhátíð (lobster festival) held on the first weekend of July. During the summer season, the Glacier Exhibition is held in the old supermarket building.
