About Kiruna

Kiruna is the northernmost town in Sweden, located in lapland. It is a popular travel destination for both Swedish and international tourists, mostly because of its world famous Icehotel. The northern location makes it a good place to observe the midnight sun and northern lights.
Abisko National Park is a summer-time attraction. hiking in the mountains around the area and on trails such as Kungsleden and Nordkalottruta, rafting, canoeing and boat trips on the surrounding lakes are also popular. The annual Kiruna festival is a music festival in the midnight sun.
