Bucharest is the capital municipality, cultural, industrial, and financial center of Romania. It is the largest city in Romania and located in the southeast of the country, lying on the banks of the Dambovita River. Its architecture is a mix of historical (neo-classical), interbellum (Bauhaus and art deco), communist-era and modern. In the period between the two World Wars, the city's elegant architecture and the sophistication of its elite earned Bucharest the nickname of Little Paris. Some of its main sights into the world's largest Parliament Palace, the Romanian Athenaeum concert hall, and a plethora of fascinating museums and parks.

Situated in the centre of Bucharest, Hotel Lido by Phoenicia is a historical hotel dating from 1930, designed by the famous architect Ernest Doneaud. The property boasts architecture from the interwar modernist current, with Art Deco elements. It is located on the posh Magheru Boulevard, less than 1 km away from the Old Town and 200 metres from the Romanian Athenaeum. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property.
The rooms at Hotel Lido by Phoenicia are luxuriously furnished, spacious and soundproofed, all with air conditioning. Each of them feature a desk, a flat-screen TV, a minibar and coffee and tea making facilities. Rooms are complete with a private bathroom fitted with a shower and free toiletries, while selected rooms here will provide you with a seating area. All guest rooms include a wardrobe and are decorated in a way that combines the modernity of our days with the elegance of the interwar Bucharest.
