About Torun
Tracing its origins to a 13C Teutonic fort, this great riverside town boasts ample medieval architecture and a vibrant ambiance.
Torun is a city in northern Poland, on the Vistula River. It is one of the oldest cities in Poland, and its medieval old town is the birthplace of the astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus. In 1997 the medieval part of the city was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In 2007 the Old Town in Torun was added to the list of Seven Wonders of Poland. National Geographic Polska rated the old town market and the Gothic town hall as one of the "30 Most Beautiful Places in the World." The city is famous for having preserved almost intact its medieval spatial layout and many Gothic buildings, all built from brick, including monumental churches, the Town Hall and many burgher houses.

Original and modern building features an indoor and outdoor pool, a spa and wellness centre, as well as rooms with a great view of the Old Town, panorama of Vistula or a park.
All rooms in Copernicus Toruń are air-conditioned and have high-class furniture and bathrooms featuring marble elements. They boast a flat-screen TV, a safe and a minibar. Some feature a balcony.
Guests of the hotel can enjoy a lobby bar, a bowling alley and a nightclub, as well as laundry and ironing service. Buffet breakfast is served in the restaurant, which also features original dishes created by a hotel chef. Copernicus also boasts a hairdressing salon.
The hotel is surrounded by a number of pubs, restaurants and important sights. Toruń Miasto Train Station is located 1,6 km away, and Toruń Bus Station – 1,5 km away.
