About Nusa Dua

Nusa Dua is an area in the southern part of Bali, Indonesia, known as an enclave of large 5-star resorts. Geger Beach is located in Sawangan, about 3 km from the southern area of Nusa Dua. The sea here is calm, so farmers grow seaweed here and tourists swim here. Immediately north of the Nusa Dua enclave is the peninsula of Tanjung Benoa, which includes cheaper hotels as well as Benoa village. Benoa Port, also located here, was previously for yachts and small ships. It is now Benoa Cruise International Terminal's turnaround port, serving as both embarkation and debarkation point for cruise passengers. As turnaround port, tourists can arrive or leave Benoa Port by either plane or ship.

Surabaya is the capital of Jawa Timur (East Java), located on northeastern Java island and along the edge of the Madura Strait and the second-largest-city in Indonesia. Kebun Binatang Surabaya (Surabaya Zoo) or KBS, opened in 1916, was the first in the world to have successfully bred orangutans in captivity. Other interesting destinations include: Masjid Cheng Ho (Zheng He Mosque), a recently built mosque, the first in Indonesia with Chinese-style architecture; Tugu Pahlawan (Hero monument), a 41 meter high monument, is the main symbol of Surabaya and commemorates the heroes of the revolutionary struggle; and Pantai Kenjeran (Kenjeran Beach), located in the eastern of Surabaya.
