Stryn is a municipality in the county of Sogn og Fjordane, Norway, located in the traditional district of Nordfjord.
The areas around Stryn have many natural attractions including the Briksdal glacier, Ramnefjellsfossen - the third highest free-falling waterfall in the world and Jostedal Glacier National Park.
The village of Stryn is the local government and shopping centre for a large community and the junction of roads which connect inner Nordfjord with the rest of Norway.
Stryn Sommerski is one of Norway's best known skiing facilities. It offers excellent skiing conditions in the summer.
