There many museums in Vienna, and several of them are in the Museumsquartier. Architectural styles range from classicist buildings to modern architecture. A Vienna ball is an all-night cultural attraction. Major Viennese balls generally begin at 9 pm and last until 5 am, although many guests carry on the celebrations into the next day.

Seefeld in Tirol is an old farming village, now a major tourist resort. The village is located on an historic road that has been important since the Middle Ages. It is a well known winter sports centre and amongst the most popular tourist resorts in Austria. Seefeld is one of the most popular Tyrolean tourist destinations especially for skiing in winter, but also for walking holidays in the summer, popular because of its plateau location; there are many walks which don't depend on climbing mountains. However, the walks into the mountains are beautiful too. Seefeld is also home to several important historical sites, as well as stunning lakes and streams, and excellent sports facilities.

With views of splendid snow-capped mountains and gleaming crystal blue lakes, Zell am See is an ideal destination for nature lovers.

Zell am See provides winter skiing on the Schmittenhohe Mountain. The ski pass covers the whole area including transport to and from the glacier which is open most of the year snow dependent. Even when the snow on the mountain isn't great, the snow on the glacier is fantastic most of the year round. Within St. Hippolyte's Church are the oldest building remnants of the Pinzgau region. The church is built in a Romanesque style. The tower is the main focus of the Zell am See skyline, reaches 36 metres, with limestone walls. The Grand Hotel Zell am See is situated in a unique position on a private peninsula at the shore of Lake Zell, surrounded by water with a panoramic view of the mountains.

Hallstatt, Upper Austria, is a village in the Salzkammergut, a region in Austria. It is located near the Hallstätter See (a lake). Hallstatt is known for its production of salt, dating back to prehistoric times, and gave its name to the Hallstatt culture, a culture often linked to Celtic, Proto-Celtic, and pre-Illyrian peoples in Early Iron Age Europe, c.800–450 BC. Some of the earliest archaeological evidence for the Celts was found in Hallstatt.
